Since the beginning of January, Dries has been rehearsing in Lagos, Nigeria with the performers of Kininso Koncepts. In the new work, they reflect together on the prediction of an African refugee flow and the future of European protectionism.

Dries: “The process is a confusing experience in every way. It is very hot and the power goes out with great regularity. Last Saturday’s filming took place from a truck with armed soldiers next to us for security. At other times it is rather carefree here and I am deeply impressed by the Nigerian bravura and utopianism. Let’s just hope the internet continues to work.”
